Dr. Pedro Espino-Grosso is a board-certified urologist at Z Urology. Originally from Havana, Cuba, Dr. Espino-Grosso has been practicing excellent urologic care for several years and is bilingual in Spanish and English.
He completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Miami in Florida. Dr. Espino-Grosso then received his Medical Degree (M.D.) from Ponce Health Sciences University School of Medicine in Puerto Rico, where his native Spanish language allowed him to provide personalized care to the Spanish-speaking population. Dr. Espino-Grosso then completed a one-year research fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville, focusing on kidney stone disease. He then completed his Urologic Surgery residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa, gaining experience at prestigious institutions like Moffitt Cancer Center for Urologic Oncology and USF/Tampa General Hospital.

Dr. Espino-Grosso is happily married to his wife and looks forward to a growing family. He enjoys traveling around the world, watching South Florida sports teams, and spending time with his family, dogs, and friends. He enjoys living an active lifestyle playing soccer and racquetball in his free time.
